Service of Samskip to St.Petersburg

    Samskip Multimodal Container Logistics has launched a short-sea service from Rotterdam to Russia. Regular calls are offered to the FCT terminals, other ports on rotation include Stockholm, Sundsvall and Umea.  

    The service is jointly run by Samskip and SCA Transforest and is manned with two chartered ships of 1000 TEU.

    By launching the new service Samskip starts offering the only in the market direct call from Stockholm to St.Petersburg.

    Transit time from Rotterdam to St.Petersburg is 5 days, from Stockholm to St.Petersburg – 1 day. Frequency of calls – weekly.
