    Maersk Line’s WCSA-North Europe Ecubex will operate as an almost dedicated Guayaquil-St. Petersburg shuttle, wayporting at Balboa (eastbound) and Moin (westbound) only.

    The new set-up reads: - Ecubex - 6x 2,600 TEU - St. Petersburg, Moin (Puerto Limon), Guayaquil, Balboa and back to St. Petersburg Sailing almost straight from Guayaquil (Ecuador) to St. Petersburg will further improve its transit-time from the main banana source to the main destination making it difficult for conventional reefer ships to compete.
