Ruscon straightens routes in the East-South corridor

In July 2021, the multimodal transport operator Ruscon and TransContainer, which are part of Delo Group, launched a new direct railway route Ningbo / Shanghai - Zabaikalsk - Pyatigorsk for transportation of containers from China to the Southern Federal District of Russia. At the same time, the main logisticsthat had been in force before that included delivery of containers from Southeast Asia, first by rail to the stations of the Moscow region, and then their export by road to the south of our country.
The operations on the new route, a proven effective synergistic approach of the Group when Ruscon acts as the operator of transportation, and TransContainer implements its railway component, including the provision of its own containers and fitting platforms. The first batch of containers has already arrived on a new route to the Skachka destination station in the Stavropol Territory and has shown the demand for service on the part of cargo owners.
Commenting on the start of work on the route under consideration, President of Ruscon Group Sergey Berezkin noted: “The new logistics product proposed by us together with our partners from TransContainer will allow not only to reduce time and material costs for cargo owners. It can significantly relieve the infrastructure of the road network in the Center-South corridor, reducing the number of heavy vehicles used here. In turn, this will reduce the damage to the environment and the carbon footprint, which all Delo Group assets strive for in the process of sustainable development”.
