Ruscon connects Russia and Kazakhstan by new railway route

6 April 2021
In March 2021, Ruscon Group and TransContainer, part of the largest transport and logistics holding in Russia, Delo Group, launched a new regular circular container service between Moscow and Kazakhstan along the route of Kresty station (Moscow region, Russia) - Zhety-Su station (Almaty, Kazakhstan) with the possibility of door-to-door delivery at both countries.
The organizer of the project and the forwarding agent of the route is Ruscon Group, which sends, receives, and delivers goods by road across Russia through its MANP terminal at the Kresty station of Moscow Region railway. The entire railway component of the route, including the handling of rolling stock and container equipment was managed by TransContainer.
The project partner on the territory of Kazakhstan is the national operator Atasu Logistics that organized the reception and dispatch of containers at the Zhety-Su railway station. The main client of the service today is MSB TRAID Ltd.
The service provides shippers, consignees and forwarders working from the positions of the Moscow region and Kazakhstan with the possibility of fast and high-quality international railway cargo delivery, which can seriously compete with road transportation on this route.
