Ruscon improves efficiency

The Ruscon terminal in Novorossiysk got to the whole new level of handling bulk cargo. Given the processing of one wagon car now takes 40 minutes, the  daily capacity reached to not less than 26 units. While, the types of wagons as well as the range of goods (mineral fertilizers, anthracite, wheat etc.) are not limited.

It is important to note that such results accelerated the total handling time of cargo (by 20-60%) and increased the wagon’s efficiency.
For example, the average handling time of one wagon car from arrival to departure to the station was reduced from 66 to 43 hours. The total number of  wagons processed at Ruscon terminals increased by 22% YoY (on present day - 4 462 export cars).

Such a stable dynamic is the result of a complex of activities carried out within the framework of Ruscon's operational strategy. The focus of this strategy is continuously improving of the efficiency for all production, management and logistics processes.
