RUSCON sets new record for containers delivery by Novorossiysk-Moscow service
development 1 April 2022In March 2022 RUSCON renewed its monthly record for the number of containers delivery from Novorossiysk to Moscow. The 11 container trains carried 634 40-foot containers, including 144 refrigerated containers. The previous record of December 2021 was broken by 24 containers.
Commenting on the event, The Senior Vice-President of RUSCON Andrey Chernyshev, said: “Today, in such a difficult time, the Group is doing its best to maintain the logistics chain, to support timely and complete cargo delivery - this is a priority for both customers and population of our country. We consider the Novorossiysk-Moscow service as one of the most important in this context. According to the number of containers transported in March, we can confidently say that the RUSCON team's efforts bring positive results.
I can also state that in addition to uninterrupted and responsive cargo dispatches along this route, our service to Moscow makes a significant contribution to improving the environment. Since its launch in February 2020, more than 7 thousand containers have been transported along this route, which is equivalent to clearing the roads of the same number of heavy trucks”.
