RUSCON renewed the license of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation for handling hazardous cargo

development 24 January 2021
The multimodal integrator of logistics services RUSCON, which is part of the largest transport and logistics holding in Russia, Delo Group, in January 2021 renewed the license of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation for handling hazardous cargo, extending its validity, except for Ruscon-1 terminal, and to terminal Ruscon-3. According to the document, these terminals located in Novorossiysk can receive and dispatch this range of cargo on their access roads.
«The extension of the license for the Ruscon-3 terminal has actually increased by a third the number of fronts intended for handling such cargo at our Novorossiysk terminal complex. This will allow us to transship a wider range of incoming cargo through it, expand the list of services provided and, accordingly, the client base» – said RUSCON’S first vice-president Andrey Chernyshov.
Measures to renew the license were implemented as part of the investment program of the RUSCON aimed at increasing its infrastructure capacities. Earlier, in accordance with this program, two railway tracks were put into operation at the Ruscon-4 terminal, which increased its capacity for handling container trains by 1.5 times.
