business 30 May 2024RUSCON launches a new service of delivery of prefabricated cargoes from India to Russia
Multimodal transport operator Ruscon (part of Delo Group) launches a direct regular service for delivery of prefabricated cargo from India to Russia.
Containers travel by sea from the Indian port of Nava Sheva to Delo Group’s terminal in Novorossiysk. Ruscon employees then distribute the cargo at own warehouse for de-consolidation and based on the client's needs send it to the final recipients by rail or road. If necessary Ruscon Broker assists clients with customs clearance of goods.
Transit time between India and Russia is 20-25 days. The frequency of shipments is four times a month. The service is focused on a wide range of goods with a minimum shipment of one kilogram. The first shipment is scheduled for early June this year.
“The new regular service helps to ensure efficient logistics between the countries, and thanks to the possibility of sending small shipments opens new prospects for small and medium-sized businesses in Russia and India”, said Ruscon’s First Vice President Andrey Chernyshev.
