Ruscon launched a regular rail service from Sichuan and Hebei provinces in China to the Moscow region
business 23 September 2024Multimodal transportation operator Ruscon (part of Delo Group) has launched a new railway service for cargo delivery from China to Russia.
The regular container train departs from Mianyang and Shijiazhuang stations in Sichuan and Hebei provinces, passes through Erlian border crossings in Shangxi province in China, Zamyn Uud in Mongolia, Naushki station in Russia, and then arrives at Kresty station which houses Ruscon's proprietary terminal. Total transit time amounts to 22 days. The dispatch frequency is two trains per month, with the prospect of increasing it to four.
The service is focused on consumer goods, automotive parts and equipment. Transportation of prefabricated, heavy cargo and chemical industry products is available.
“Expanding the range of routes allows us to create variability in the choice of transportation solutions, and their development helps customers to increase transportation volumes, reducing time and optimizing the cost of cargo delivery,” said Sergey Beryozkin, Ruscon's chief executive officer.
With Ruscon's extensive agent network throughout China, rail freight shipments are accessible from any station. This enables a wide range of transportation solutions to meet a variety of customer needs.
