Multimodal transport operator Ruscon (part of Delo Group) has launched regular import rail services from China to Moscow.
Containers on the regular train route travel from Xi’an Station (Shaanxi Province) in China to Kresty station in the Moscow region. Transit time is 20-25 days. The frequency of shipments is twice a month, with plans to increase to four times a month.
The service is designed for a wide range of cargoes. The first shipment delivered containers with goods from major Chinese automobile manufacturers, consumer goods, and chemical products.
“Having reliable and fast rail communication is a key element in strengthening economic ties and maintaining a steady flow of goods between Russia and China. The new service will complement the existing route offerings and provide our customers with more options for flexible transportation planning”, said First Vice President of Ruscon Andrey Chernyshev.
