Transportation for Russian House in the USA
24 July 2013Ruscon have completed transportation of statues and busts from Kropotkin (Kransodar region, Russia) to New York for the House of Russian culture and glory “Rodina (Motherland)”, opened on May 26th, 2013. Total four empty 40’ containers were positioned to the shipper’s warehouse in Kropotkin, where cargo loaded and firmly secured in containers. Then containers immediately proceeded to Novorossiysk port for loading on the nearest sailing. The total time of delivery of monuments till New York was 38 days.
After smooth dispatch of containers from NY/NJ port the monuments were installed in the Park of Glory of the Russian House.
The statues of the famous Russian leaders, politicians and artists of the past and present are exposed there as follows: Alexander Nevskiy, Dmitriy Donskoy, Sergiy Radonezhskiy, John III Vasilievich, Ermak, Peter I the Great, Mikhail Lomonosov, Ekaterina II, Alexander I, Alexander II, Alexander III, Alexander Pushkin, Mikhail Lermontov, Nikolay Gogol, Mikhail Kutuzov, Petr Bagration, Mikhail Barklay de Tolli, Matvei Platov, Petr Stolypin, Fyodor Ushakov, Pavel Nakhimov, Alexander Suvorov, Mikhail Skobelev, Sergrey Vitte, Georgiy Zhukov, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Mstislav Rostropovich and Vladimir Vysotskiy. The ceremony of opening of the Park of Glory was attended by representatives of Russian Embassy in the USA, the Consulate General of Russia in NY, Russian Orthodox Church Overseas, Municipality of city Howell, public and cultural figures, Cossacks. The event coincided with the celebrations of the Days of Russia Culture in America, started on May 24th .
