New train service Novorossiysk - Volgograd - Novorossiysk

RUSCON together with TPK-Alliance organized the first dispatch of a block train on the route Novorossiysk - Volgograd - Novorossiysk. The experimental dispatch was carried out as part of a project to expand the geography of the company's train services. The project is being implemented with the active support of the North Caucasus and Privolzhskaya (“Volga Railway”) railways.

A block train with containers arrived by sea to the port of Novorossiysk was sent from the company's own port terminal in early December. In the opposite direction the export goods of the region’s producers were loaded. At the end of December it is scheduled to dispatch the next train.

The service provides an opportunity to offer customers a new transport and logistics product which is competitive in transit time and cost.

In the future it is planned to make the service regular, the exact schedule of shipments will depend on the needs of the cargo owners.
