Maersk launches a dedicated reefer service to Novorossiysk

    Seago Line, the regional carrier within Maersk structure, is going to launch a dedicated reefer service to the port of Novorossiysk.

    The service is going to cater for seasonal volumes of fresh fruits from Israel and citrus from Turkey, as well as dry cargoes from the same regions.

     The service will be manned with two 600 TEU ships. Port rotation will be: Ashdod – Mersin – Novorossiysk – Ashdod. In Novorossiysk Seago vessels will be calling at the NUTEP terminal.

    The maiden call of the service is scheduled on Nov. 14th.

    In the previous season of 2011/until June 2012 Seago operated another dedicated reefer service to Novorossiysk, covering at that time Ashdod and Port Said.
