Maersk adds Novorossiysk call to ME3 service

Maersk is adding a new direct call at Novorossiysk on the ME3 service covering the Indian sub-continent/Middle East/Med/Black Sea trade from the second week of September

Under the new port rotation, the ME3 will then offer direct calls at : Pipavav, Hazira, Nhava Sheva, Jebel Ail, Salalah, Mersin, Izmit, Ambarli, Novorossiysk, Izmit, Ambarli, Mersin, Port Said, Jeddah, Jebel Ali and back to Pipavav

The service presently operates with 6 x 4,200/4,800 teu vessels, but to accommodate the new Novorossiysk call, service deployment will go up 7 x 4,200/4,800 teu vessels with the additional vessel being the SCI Zurich

First Novorossiysk call is scheduled for September 13th by the 4,824 teu Maersk Georgia
