Q1 2012 container throughput of Baltic ports

    In the Q1 2012 container throughput of Baltic ports went up by 16,7% to 236 266 TEU.

    The biggest port of the region – Kalipeda handled 91,1 thousand TEU (+0,1%), followed by Riga  – 86,9 thousand TEU (+30,5%). Tallin achieved in Jan.-Mar. slightly less than 57 thousand TEU, which is 28,5% than a year ago.

    Liepaya increased its container throughput by 76,2% to 962 TEU. Container handling has been resumed at Ventspils – 360 TEU was the results in Q1 2012.
