Hamburg Sued and Seago Line (Maersk Line) will enhance their cooperation

    Effective next month, Hamburg Sued and Seago Line (Maersk Line) will enhance their cooperation between North Europe and the East Mediterranean. In addition to the Aegean Sea service of Seago Line, on which Hamburg Sьd already hires space, the two carriers will start North Sea (Seago) and Levant sea (Hamburg Sьd), replacing Eurolev, Euromed and NESM, respectively.



    As the new services will deploy larger ships (4,200 TEU instead of 2,600 TEU average) combined capacity will remain more or less unchanged. The revised network reads: - Levant Sea - Hamburg Sьd - 5x 4,200 TEU - Felixstowe, Antwerp, Hamburg, Algeciras, Tangier, Limassol, Alexandria, Port Said, Beirut, Lattakia, Mersin, Port Said, Algeciras and back to Felixstowe - North Sea - Seago - 4x 4,200 TEU - Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Haifa, Alexandria, Ashdod and back to Rotterdam - Aegean Sea - Seago - 4x 2,500 TEU - Felixstowe, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Piraeus, Gebze, Istanbul, Gemlik, Izmir, Valencia, Felixstowe
