Ruscon Group transported the first batch of products for the Nuclear power plant in Turkey

The multimodal integrator of logistics services Ruscon Group, which is part of the largest transport and logistics holding in Russia, Delo Group of Companies, has successfully delivered special products for the Akkuyu NPP under construction (Turkey). This was the first logistic operation implemented within the framework of the agreement concluded with the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom for the transfer of components manufactured in Russia at nuclear industry enterprises for such a serious construction project. Products manufactured by JSC Tyazhmash were accepted by representatives of the Ruscon group from the manufacturer in the Big Port of St. Petersburg, packed in two standard containers and on September 13, 2020 were shipped by sea to Turkey. On October 7, 2020, the cargo arrived at the Turkish port of Mersin, where Ruscon Group carried out its acceptance, transshipment from shipping containers to specialized vehicles, delivery to the construction site and successful transfer of the products to the customer.

Ruscon Group President Sergei Berezkin noted: “Rosatom State Corporation has very strict requirements for the transportation of such products.  Therefore, our specialists have been especially careful about each component of this transportation, from the first to the last stage. "

At present, Ruscon Group performs several such shipments in the interests of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom.  The successful implementation of the first of them is also important for the unique experience gained in organizing and conducting such a responsible logistics operation, which will allow the Ruscon group to develop this area of ​​activity with a wide range of customers.
