Delo Group increases synergy from joint activities of their assets
29 June 2021As part of the development of partnerships with the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, the multimodal transport operator Ruscon and TransContainer, which are part of Delo Group, organized the delivery of components for the industrial production of wind turbine components. This project is being implemented in the city of Volgodonsk, Rostov Region on the basis of the Atommash enterprise. It was launched by a special investment contract signed in February 2019 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and JSC NovaWind, which is part of Rosatom.
The peculiarities of the production of wind turbines dictate special requirements for the logistics component of the project, first, the reliability of transportation and a high speed of delivery of components. Ruscon and TransContainer, which have achieved a high level of synergetic effect within the framework of joint work in Delo Group, confidently provide all the necessary conditions for a prompt and continuous supply of the necessary components.
To this end, a proven effective scheme is used - Ruscon acts as a turnkey cargo transportation operator, independently organizing transportation to the border between China and Russia, and TransContainer ensures its delivery by rail to the destination station including the provision of its own containers and fitting platforms. At the same time, due to the special requirements of the customer, all the nuances of loading and unloading and reloading operations are taken into account, for which the optimal commodity and transport packaging is selected, and the condition of the cargo is continuously monitored during transportation.
Ruscon, together with our partner in the Group, TransContainer, organizes and carries out the movement from China of such an important part of the wind power plant as a set of metal components of its tower. This high-tech and expensive equipment requires just-in-time delivery. Therefore, our companies have chosen a proven logistics route - direct transportation of equipment from China by means of container trains. Today it, moreover, is also the most reliable in the conditions of unstable work of sea delivery chains "- noted First vice-president of RUSCON Group, Andrey Chernyshev.
