Delo Group Summarizes 2023 Results in Consolidated Sustainable Development Report

Back to news list In 2023, the Delo Group continued its work on minimizing environmental impacts and enhancing the quality of life for employees. Notably, the Group launched a pilot project for installing solar collectors at “dry” container terminals to improve overall energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, while also continuing to implement energy-saving technologies and equipment.
During the reporting period, the Delo Group concluded its first transaction involving Carbon Zero green certificates from Russian origin, compensating for greenhouse gas emissions amounting to over 13,000 tons of CO2. Additionally, a Carbon Footprint Calculator was developed for clients to assess greenhouse gas emissions during cargo deliveries.
An important event of 2023 was the expansion of the corporate program aimed at boosting birth rates and supporting motherhood and childhood to all companies within the Group. In the regions where the Delo Group operates, investments continued in creating a comfortable living environment for residents, including improving parks and public spaces and supporting sports and cultural events.
“Implementation of ESG principles enhances the company’s appeal to clients and employees while reducing financial costs. In our second report, we presented our current practices in environmental protection, labor safety, social protection, and other aspects. We plan to further contribute to the ESG transformation in the transportation and logistics sector”, noted Vera Smirnova, Sustainability Director of the Delo Group.
