CMA CGM launches a dedicated citrus service to Novorossiysk

    CMA CGM announced about start of the new citrus services CITRUS EXPRESS to the port of Novorossiysk.

    The service will provide for transportation of citrus fruits form Turkey and Egypt. The weekly fixed-day service will use three 1100 TEU vessels.

     Rotation from the first call on Nov. 2nd will be as follows. Port Said – Mersin – Istanbul – Novorossiysk – Gemlik – Port Said. From mid-February when export season of citrus in Turkey is expected to end, while it starts in Egypt, the service rotation can be revised to  Damietta – Istanbul – Novorossiysk – Gemlik – Port Said.  It will take five days to deliver container from Mersin to Novorossiysk, and seven days - from Damietta to Novorossiysk.
