RUSCON expands transportation geography between Russia and Turkey

Multimodal operator RUSCON (part of the Delo Group), expands the transportation geography between Russia and Turkey adding a call at the port of Gebze (located in one of the most industrially developed areas of the country, 50 km south-east of Istanbul).

Transportation was fully organized by the Company - from the manufacturer's warehouse in the Siberian region to the unloading port in Turkey. The transit time on the sea shoulder was less than 3 days. The next shipment is scheduled for October 31, 2022.

Over a hundred containers of Russian goods for Turkish chemical companies were delivered in the first operation. A key feature of this transportation is the company’s ability to offer cargo owners a reliable service not only to the European, but also to the Asian part of Istanbul.

Andrey Chernyshev, Senior Vice President of RUSCON, emphasized the importance of the Balkan direction: “Expanding operational geography is one of the main development priorities of RUSCON. Consequently, in the context of the global logistics chain restructuring, Turkish ports are beginning to play an increasingly important role for the delivery of transit cargo.
